The BAI is pleased to announce that work has begun on our long-planned restaurant! Our quick-casual establishment will center around a Mugnaini wood-fired oven from Healdsburg, CA. Offerings will include Neapolitan style pizzas, flat-bread sandwiches, roasted vegetables and meats, small plate entrees, salads and more. Chef Tom’s Mediterranean themed menu will be prepared in house, from scratch, with the finest produce and ingredients possible, all in a casual atmosphere. Another feature will be a modern beer and wine bar, with an ever-changing variety of wines and craft beers on tap. Enjoy a pint/glass with your meal, or while waiting for a take-away order.
Curious about our name? Noted La Jolla architect William Kesling designed our building, the original home of Woods’ Market. Using his name connects us to the history of our community while recognizing the timelessness of his modern design.
