Hi, you have reached CCD (Carlsbad Coastal Dental) and my name is Dr. Michael Thylin. I started my practice from scratch in 2006 and have been growing ever since. My goal as a general dentist is to restore and maintain your oral health for as long as possible. I pride myself in offering the most predicable and cost effective ways for you to reach this goal. Ones oral health, is largely determined by understanding the biological and biomechanical aspects related to their mouth. Here at CCD we will give you the tools and knowledge so you can protect yourself from some of the avoidable dental problems.
Our philosophy here at CCD is to establish a comprehensive baseline of your oral health needs and then plan for strategies to improve and maintain it. Generally, there are a number of ways to fix things if they are broken. Here at CCD we customize your treatment plan with you in mind.
